African Americans arrived in America centuries ago, and have grown through historical ups and downs. To commemorate such milestones in histories most societies and organizations in America organize African American festivals. They are planned to bring together the millions of African Americans.

These three African American festivals are different in nature, yet they are organized for one purpose, to cherish the historical times through arts and culture.
The Watts Summer Festival is an annual cultural African American festival that brings together everyone involved in theatre, arts, presentation, music and fashion. The African American Heritage Festival is another big event. It is located in Baltimore and celebrates the history, culture, education, heritage and arts from across various classes of the African American society and population. The African American Arts festival on the other hand caters to the population of Florida with a nice blend of cultural and art events and social responsibilities such as health screenings and educational information about health issues.
